The Nordic Skiers are a group of friends that organize backcountry ski trips for participants of all levels. The trips range from easy tours over flat and rolling terrain to moderate and steep ascents and descents in the Beautiful Rugged Sierras. Professional instruction in cross-country technique is encouraged, but the Nordic Skiers are not affiliated with any ski schools.

Directions to the camping area for the Memorial Weekend Tioga Pass, Yosemite Ski Trip

DIRECTIONS TO ASPEN CAMPGROUND
Take Hwy 395 to Lee Vining. Drive through Lee Vining heading south on State Hwy 395. In less than 1 mile, turn Right onto State Hwy 120 heading west to Yosemite National Park. Go a few miles passing a Forest Service Ranger Station on the left. Make the last left turn before the Metal Gate on Hwy 120. (If you continue you will go up the hill and into Yosemite NP.) Your left turn will bring you to a T intersection. At the T intersection there should be a directional sign that includes Aspen Campground. Turn right at the T, heading west and parallel with Hwy 120. Travel 2-3 miles and you will see the campground to the left just beyond an open meadow. There should be a sign indicating Aspen Campground. Turn left to cross the meadow. EUREKA YOU HAVE FOUND IT!
